When Sound Women started out we wanted to celebrate the wealth of female talent in the audio and radio industry.
So we created the 200 list – a list of some of the best in the business – where star presenters sat alongside commissioners, sales directors and Indie chiefs, as well as sound engineers and award-winning producers.
Now that we are established, with so many members, all of whom are inspirational in their own way, we have decided to celebrate women in radio instead with the Sound Women Awards.
We will be announcing details of how to enter in 2013.
